Another beast: Sony Ericsson SATIO 12 MP preview (en)
Another beast seems to have emerged these days: SATIO (Idou) from SE was captured on tape by Phonearena guys.
The hardware specs are even scarier then iPhones 3GS ‘:
– Features: GPS + Wi-Fi + HSDPA + 12 MP Xenon camera + 3.5’, 16M colors touch screen
– CPU: Texas Instruments OMAP 3 + ARM Cortex A8 RISC core at 600-800 MHz; GPU: PowerVR VGX 2D/3D (Open GL ES 2.0 support)
– OS: Symbian Series 60, 5th edition
Giving these strong points, I’m more and more convinced that Nokia has bet a bit more on their name and brand awareness, sub-dimensioning the N97 specs to barely acceptable.
